Ravens Ridge

Ravens Ridge is a fabulous hike starting one the Winsor Trail from the base of the Santa Fe Ski Area and continuing up the mountain to an incredible view of the surrounding area including the Rio Nambe and Lake Peak, Nambe Lake and Santa Fe Baldy. You have the option of hiking back down the way you came or continuing on to Deception Peak and waling down the ski area trails. The hike is moderately strenuous and will take approximately 2-5 hours, depending on which way you come down. For such a close proximity to town, people are often amazed at how quickly they can escape into the wilderness by walking up Ravens Ridge.
